A Fender custom or a les paul custom

They’re both really fantastic guitars, although if money was no issue I’d choose the Les Paul, hands down.

I just prefer the way the Les Paul looks/feels/sounds/plays better than a Strat.

That being said, obviously there’s a lot of people in the world who like Stratocasters, you might end up being one of them.

Go to a store, try them both out, see which one feels like the right guitar for you.

Also, there’s a lot of great guitars out there made by other companies; I’m in love with both the Godin guitars and the Reverend guitars; they’ll be cheaper that either of the ones you’re talking about, but honestly sound and play just as well.

that link shows the guitar is going for less then 500 dollars.. hows that possible. i now im missing something but what is it? help please!

It is a fake. Three pick-ups not two on authentic. Rosewood too light. Head stock wrong shape. Logo nasty. Binding not correct. Tuners not proper. Bridge horrible. I have seen a lot of Pauls I have never seen stickers on the pickups like these. Although, they may be accurate. There have been LPs with three pick-ups but most have been hot-rodded. There are so many problems it is hard to mention them all. Pick up frames abd the color of the screws. Don’t buy a cheap LP from TURKEY. This was a joke right?

Sounds to me that you’ve already got some really nice guitars. If you can find one, a Charvel model 2 or model 3 is a great guitar.

I already own my second guitar that I just got like last month.
It is a Gibson Les Paul Studio Silverburst ($1300). my mom got me it for my 15th birthday… but now I want to sell it for the same price I bought it for. it is in perfect condition. extremely extremely minor dents on the upper back of the neck because from laying it against my table. it does not effect the tone or the playing of using the guitar. and it is very clean and greatly tuned with new DR Silverstar Coated Standard Strings. So now I don’t exactly like the finish… and I want to be original and different from others. And I made my own finish design:

I’m wanting a custom Gibson Les Paul (studio if so?) with the EXACT same hardware and EVERYTHING as the Original guitar I own. JUST A DIFFERENT FINISH I want on it. so, How much do you think it would cost?

No Criticizing me. or calling me a spoiled brat and ungrateful and not knowing how mean I am to my Silverburst. -.-

You want an expensive cat and an expensive guitar? Why don’t you stick with the guitar….cats deserve good owners.

This guitar is wine red, totally all original and includes the original case too. The shop wants $2500.00 . Is this a fair price, or is this a bit high?
Also there will be almost $250 in tax to add. Thanks!

My husband collects guitars and thinks given the age of this guitar, (too new to be an antique, too old to be in mint condition) $1800 would be a far more reasonable price. Any chance of making an offer or is the $2500 a firm price??

I heard the production of the Gibson Les Paul Custom was recently moved to the Gibson custom shop to more accurately reflect the name of the guitar. Does anyone know the first year the Les Paul Custom was produced in the custom shop? Thanks.
