Zendrive Demo Gibson Les Paul, Fender Twin Reverb
Hi everyone.
There is a lot of buzz around at the moment regarding the Hermida Audio Zendrive Pedal. While I don’t believe there is ever a ‘magic box’ to make great guitarists sound the way they do this comes very close to the tone I have always had in my head of wanting to obtain.
It’s a hard tone to describe, you think it’s dirty and overdriven, yet the Fender Twin still acts in the way it would if you were plugged straight in.
I can confirm IMO this is the closest sounding pedal (I have heard) to a ‘Dumble type sound’. I recently saw John Mayer in London using his along with a ‘Two Rock’ and it’s without doubt in the ball park when paired with a Fender amp.

Does anyone else hear the camera mic clipping or is there something wrong with the volume levels on my laptop?
Oh, and by the way, my impression is that the SS Zendrive is “gainier” than the tube based one…

Robben’s sound seems to all come from his hands. That’s why no one can ever really sound like him, and at the end of the day aren’t we all wanting to sound like ourselves?

nice tone dude!! I myself have my sound with a Ibenez tube screamer and a fulltone 69 pedal….its kinda ball park sounding to your sound although you can tell its a strat not a les paul like yours Peace brother I glad you got your tone you like

I have just the normal 65 reverb amp and there super cleane nevr herd any as cleane as the 65 reverbs and i can get a gr8 distortion sound out of it with the saturator. =]
