Hello everybody! This is me trying to give a good sample of the sounds you can get by installing on your les paul the Jimmy Page Wiring. It’s very versatile and you can get different conbinations by four push/pull pots.Personally,I have 2 (the volumes) for coil split and other 2 (the tones) to reverse the phase. You can get close Telecaster sounds, brilliant and clear,Peter green out of phase an,obviously,Led Zeppelin. Guess what I use in these song, between full humbucker, single coil and phase reverse!Hope it can help to give you an idea of “hoe sounds”

Here I go again with the metal song! Sorry if it’s becoming irritating, but I figured it was the best to show a direct comparison between my guitars and mods.
This video features my Epiphone Les Paul Custom Alpine, but it now has been fitted with DiMarzio humbuckers. A PAF Pro in the neck, and a Tone Zone on the bridge. I love these new pickups..awesome tone and the hum canceling is also great. My amp (Spider 112) doesn’t however do them justice. I’ve played it through my bandmates Triple Rectifier and is sound huge.
COMMENTS PLEASE!!!

Here’s a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Supreme played through my Fender Super Sonic amp with an Avatar 2×12 extension cab. All 3 speakers are 12″ atone 30’s. The guitar was plugged straight into the amp and there are no effects used at all besides the built in tube gain/ditortion…not even reverb. Any differences in sound are from either the controls on the guitar, or my dynamics in playing…or possibly from standing in front of the camera and blocking the speakers sound from getting directly to the built in camcorder microphone. This guitar features a chambered Mahogany body between an Arched (AAAA grade Flamed) Maple top and back…Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard round it out and it is extremely dressed up…inlays, binding, gold hardware…and it sounds better than it looks! It plays great, sustains forever, is incredibly resonant with very controllable feedback characteristics…I had my amp cranked…it was shaking almost everything in the house! I’ll be putting this up for sale on eBay very soon. Thanks for watching and feel free to comment and correspond.

Here is one sweet old guitar…I was blown away as soon as I plugged it in to my “rig”. I cleaned it up and set it up with a fresh set of D’addario XL Lights as best I could (the original bridge won’t give you proper intonation on all of the strings). Even with the few things that need attention…like the nut is cracked at the B string (note the piece of paper there), this thing screams! There is nothing quite like a 45 year old piece of Mahogany with an original Gibson P-90 pickup. I’ve always liked taking chances live and doing these demos as I’m led at the moment…completely unrehearsed (and in this and most cases, not even warmed up properly), it gives me an opportunity to fall on my face and keeps my ego from getting in the way. About 3/4 of the way through it hit me how rich and deep this guitar sounded in normal tuning, so I dropped the E string on the spot and played the rest in drop D tuning (which I haven’t done in ages and it probably shows…). I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed playing this old guitar. It will probably go up for sale on eBay soon. The video was recorded with my Nikon Coolpix 3200 digital camera set on video mode so the quality isn’t great (built in mic., etc.), but you can still get a good idea of what this guitar can do. The guitar was plugged straight into my “rig”…a Fender Super Sonic 1×12 combo with an Avatar 2×12 cab…all 3 speakers are atone 30’s. Thanks for watching (and reading this far…), feel free to rate and comment.
